Paris Olympic Games 2024 – Your Game Pass

Check if you require a Game Pass (officially known as Pass Jeux).

In many cases, a Game Pass may not be needed, so it’s important to verify if you need one. 

I. You will need a Pass

If you’re on foot, bike, cargo bike, or scooter, you will need a pass

  • To access the grey perimeter around the opening Ceremony from July 18 to July 26 until 1:00 p.m. On July 26 from 1:00 p.m., access is reserved exclusively for spectators with a ticket or access card, and people with an exemption and a Pass Jeux.

If you have a motorized vehicle (a 2-wheeler, car, cab, VTC, commercial vehicle, HGV truck), you will need a pass

  • To access the grey perimeter around the opening ceremony from July 18 to 26 until 1 pm, you must have an exemption. Please check the table of authorized persons for more information.
  • Access to the red perimeter around Olympic and Paralympic venues and the para-cycling event is permitted only with an exemption. Please refer to the table of authorized persons for details.

 

NB 1: Any person in a motorized vehicle traveling within the grey perimeter of the opening Ceremony must also own an individual Game (Pass Jeux).

 

II. You will not need a Pass

If you’re on foot, bike, cargo bike, or scooter, you don’t need a Game Pass

  • To access the red perimeters around the Opening Ceremony, Olympic and Paralympic venues, and road events.
  • To access the blue perimeters around Olympic and Paralympic venues.
  • To circulate outside the perimeters.

 

If you have a motorized vehicle (2-wheeler, car, taxi, ride-hailing service, commercial vehicle, HGV truck), you don’t need a Pass Jeux:

  • To circulate outside the perimeters (free circulation without control).
  • To access the blue perimeters around Olympic and Paralympic venues (you need to show proof of a legitimate interest in going to the blue zone).

 

NB 2: Children under the age of 13 do not require a Pass Jeux.
If you have a ticket for the opening Ceremony and are not visiting the area in the days leading up to
it, you do not need to apply for a Pass Jeux.

 

A. Grey perimeter for the Olympic Games opening ceremony

The Olympic opening Ceremony takes place on July 26, 2024, on the Seine in Paris. The security arrangements include two perimeters:

  • The grey perimeter
  • The red perimeter

B. Red perimeter around Olympic and Paralympic venues

The competition venues are surrounded by 4 perimeters where motorized traffic is prohibited and regulated to ensure the flow of spectators to the Olympic and Paralympic venues: :

  • The grey organizer perimeter
  • Black perimeter
  • Red perimeter
  • Blue perimeter

C. Let’s stay practical, first check if an address to reach is within a regulated perimeter

To determine if an address is situated within a security perimeter that requires a Pass Jeux, you are invited to go on the Anticiperlesjeux website. For that please click on the following link: Verify if a Game Pass is required

 

D. What you need to apply for your digital pass (Pass Jeux)

You will find below the personal information that will be required to fill in:

  • Name and Surname
  • Place and date of birth
  • Email address
  • Address
  • Copy of an identity document
  • Identity photo

If you are applying for a vehicle digital pass, the following information will be required :

  • Registration number
  • Copy of the car registration certificate

According to your derogation reason, some dedicated documents might be necessary. Prepare them ahead.
You will find below the possible documents:

  • Proof of address
  • Proof of temporary accommodation
  • Employer or mission-proof
  • Proof of visit
  • Professional card
  • Proof of parking in the area
