Separating the bedroom from the lounge, an architectural teal blue cube has been created in the main double living room, conveniently accommodating and concealing the bathroom area, as well as creating a perfectly adapted space.
Location: The neighbourhood is a popular pedestrianised area in the first quarter. Located in the very heart of central Paris and so is ideal for accessing many of Paris’s attractions.  The Art Loft is only a short few minutes walk to:  the Pompidou Centre, the Rue de Rivoli, the Seine River,  the Marais, Notre Dame Cathedral, Ile de la Cité and Ile St Louis, St. Germain and the trendy Montorgueil quarter. Montorgueil is one of the few authentically Parisian quarters remaining that is untouched by tourists. A quarter attracting artists, designers and artisans.  Montorgueil is also known for its twice weekly open air markets where diverse items from fresh produce to jewellery can be bought. 
Nearest convenience stores : There is a late opening grocery on Rue de la Ferronerie itself. The apartment is located just across the public gardens from Quartier Montorgueil with its rich offering of fresh produce and speciality stores.  This trendy but authentic Parisian neighbourhood has many local artisanal stores offering wonderful fresh produce:  chocolate, pastries, fresh fruit and vegetable, fresh sea-food, butchers, fashion boutiques etc. There is also a Monoprix and Bio Con on nearby Boulevard Sebastopol and a Naturalia on Rue Montorgueil offering health-conscious, gluten free options. On the nearby Rue St Honoré there is a great Deli and patisserie store. As above – Quartier Montorgueil is very close by (just a couple of minutes walk) and offers many trendy bars and a great diversity of restaurants and cafés. Favourite streets to explore include Rue Montorgueil, (L’Escargot restaurant and the Rocher de Cancale),  Rue St Sauveur (Experimental Cocktail Bar, Jeffrey’s Cocktail bar and the Club Rayé for cocktails and gospel Sunday Brunch; the Klay gym at 4bis Rue St Sauveur which has a heated courtyard and restaurant and bar open to the public that does wonderful brunches, cocktails and freshly squeezed juices);  Rue Tiquetonne (Osteria Ruggera among many others) Nearby Joe Allens on Rue Pierre Lescot offers great cocktails and clean american
Standing: The apartment is located on the second floor with no elevator. One of the first buildings to be established in this historical part of Paris – the building is 17th century and estimated to have been built between 1669 and 1678. Security code entrance.
Layout: 2 bedroom apartment for 4 people, can fit up to 6 persons. One bathroom with a shower, and separated toilets. Fully equipped, modern american kitchen. A niche in the cube also houses a flat screen adapted for cable TV or DVD viewing. The master bedroom presents its queen bed majestically in the middle of the room. The bed head-board is upholstered with padded leather for comfort and adjustable reading lights and overhead lighting create the possibility of several relaxing moods for this peaceful room. Above the entrance to the apartment, accessed by its own private and made-to-measure metal staircase, is an unexpected sleeping area contained in a second cosy cube.  This cube has a long window integrated on one side overlooking the loft and is lined with warm orange black-out curtains that can be drawn around the bed for peaceful slumber.  Articulating reading lights, cushions, bed-side tables and a leather-covered padded headboard make for a very intimate and cosy space with a birds’ eye view over the apartment and its tall loft windows.  There is also accessory shelving for clothing and personal effects as well as plug sockets for charging phones or tablets.  Below the mezzanine a large cupboard and closet offers spacious storage for clothing or luggage.
