This section should provide enough information to  guide before, during and after  your stay.

FINDING AN APARTMENT

From the Paris-Hospitality « Homepage »

On the Homepage horizontal search bar, enter

  • listing type (studio, 1 bedroom,…)
  • date of arrival
  • date of departure
  • number of persons
  • click « search »
  • then you will be brought to a page with the results

From the Paris-Hospitality « Apartment search » page

On the Homepage menu bar click on « Apartment search »

  • this will bring you to the apartment search page
  • there you can enter the same criteria as above
    • listing type (studio, 1 bedroom,…)
    • date of arrival
    • date of departure
    • number of persons
  • click search or
  • refine the query with additional criteria like
    • required amenities
    • required facilities

Are there other ways of searching places?

Yes, just ask us to make a research on your behalf

What to do when you know which place you'd like to book?

In both cases, results show a selection of places answering your criteria

  • if interested in one or more places you can
    • create a list of favorites to share and select from
    • message us to enquire for availability

FINALISING YOUR BOOKING

Availability Enquiry

  • Now you have found what you liked and want to know if you’ll be able to reserve the place
  • Whichever enquiry mode is used, no booking can be confirmed until we are able to double-check the availability with the owner/ manager of the place you selected
  • If the selected place is available, you will receive an email in the next 24-48 hours explaining how to finalise the booking of your apartment

Availability confirmation

  • Great news, you received a go-ahead from us!
  • The selected place is put on Hold for you, during 48h
  • In other words, nobody else but you can confirm the reservation
  • If you pass the regular delay for any reason and you are still willing to book, drop us a line
  • If we do not hear from you the place is made public again

Resrevation confirmation

To confirm a reservation, you are expected to settle an amount based on the length of your stay

1. For stays up to 3 months, 30% of the total stay

2. For stays beyond 3 months, the equivalent of a 1-month stay

  • Several means of payment can be used to make the down payment confirming the reservation
  • Please be advised: this amount may be refundable under certain conditions (see our chapter Cancellation policy)

3. Which means of payment can be used?

  • By credit card directly on our website via your personal account
  • By wire transfer with a copy of the payment order emailed to us

When do I settle the balance of the stay?

For stays up to 3 months booked in advance: the regular time limit to settle the balance of the stay is one month before the arrival date at the latest

2. For any booking starting in less than 30 days and lasting up to 3 months, full payment of the rental is required before check-in

3. For long term stays, things are working a bit differently

  • Before arrival guests need to settle the last month of stay and the security deposit
  • The outstanding balance is settled either on a
    • monthly basis
    • trimester basis
    • in full

SECURITY DEPOSIT

When does the security deposit need to be settled?

1. For short term stay up to 3 months:

  • The guests sign an authorization to charge his/ her credit card to cover any damages or extras related to the stay
  • The guests settle a 1-month stay to cover any damages or extras related to the stay

2. For stay beyond 3 months: guests settle an amount equivalent to 1 month of stay

When the security deposit is refunded?

1. The security deposit or the amount blocked on a credit card is normally refunded/unlocked up to 4 weeks after check-out, provided everything is in order

4. If there are some problems noticed at checkout or extras related to the stay, the refund of the security deposit balance can take up to 2 months

What are the possible Deductions From The Security Deposit?

Here are various instances when an amount may be deducted from the Security Deposit

  • Additional utility consumption over the initial monthly fee
  • Additional cleaning required by the condition of the place
  • Replacement of broken/ missing objects
  • Refurbishment of damaged parts in the apartment
  • Unpaid rent

DOCUMENTS TO PROVIDE

What are the Mandatory Documents?

1. For short term stay up to 1 month

  • Passport scan
  • Permanent address

2. For stay beyond 1 month and up to 12 months

  • Passport scan
  • Permanent address
  • Letter of acceptance by the school
  • Letter of employer

Are there other documents to provide?

Depending on the type of rental, the length of stay, and mostly, the owner expectations, the guest may be asked to provide additional documents like

  • Last 3 salary slips
  • Tax slips
  • Bank account certificate
  • Any valid certificate of income

In the case the potential guest is not able to provide this kind of documents, there are still alternative solutions to explore

4. If there are some problems noticed at checkout or extras related to the stay, the refund of the security deposit balance can take up to 2 months

STAY CANCELLATION

How to cancel a booking before arrival?

1. If the cancellation occurs more than 2 months before your arrival date, the booking deposit (minus EUR 150 for the administration fee) will be refunded

2. If the cancellation occurs between one and two months before your arrival date, the paid deposit will be owed

3. If the cancellation occurs less than a month before your arrival date, the deposit and the balance totaling a month will be owed

How to cancel a booking during the stay?

1. During the stay, the tenant can cancel any time, but for that must send a notice of leave at least 1 month before the new date of checkout

2. If the tenant sends a notice of leave below the required 1 month, he/she is liable to settle the next month Pro-Rata Temporis as compensation for the loss

Do you charge fees for stay cancellation?

Unfortunately, we have to, due to the work already done, i.e. the full booking process and the extra work incurred by the cancellation.

However, these agency fees remain light in comparison with the usual practice requiring full payment of the booking fee.

1. If the cancellation occurs during a stay between a week and 3 months, the agency fee is owed in full (plus EUR 150 for the administration fee)

2. If the cancellation occurs during a stay longer than 3 months, the agency fee is owed in accordance with the new length of stay, with a minimum of 3 months (plus a EUR 300 admin fee)

EXTEND A STAY

Is it possible to extend a stay?

Yes, absolutely!

Guests are always welcome to extend their stay, provided the place they rent is available for their new dates of stay.

How to proceed?

  • Very simple: kindly send us an email with your new dates of stay
  • We verify availability with the owner/ manager
  • If the place is available, the dates of stay are extended and the total rent updated
  • And that’s it

CREATING AN ACCOUNT

What can you do with an account?

  • Each registered user can manage the followings:
    • profile
    • reservations
    • favorites
    • invoices
    • send and receives messages
  • Additionally, all users registered as host also have a page to display
    • the listings they managed
    • their bookings
    • their reviews

How to create an account?

  1. On the homepage, click on the “Register” button
  2. Fill the mini-form
    1. Username
    2. email address
    3. create a password
    4. select “I want to book”
    5. agree with T&C
    6. agree with Privacy Policy
    7. click on the button “Register”
  3. When you receive your registration confirmation, you can log in and access your Dashboard to complete your personal information
