Welcome to Paris-Hospitality

Bonjour and welcome to Paris-Hospitality, where Hospitality with a capital letter, is the first thing we keep in mind.

We believe that, if you’ve reached our website, this means you are expecting something different from the usual furnished rental agency. And you are right.
Indeed, we are not only proposing listings and closing rental contracts; we do more for our customers, we prefer to call guests.

Paris-Hospitality is an agency addressing the needs of international – students – business persons – diplomats – planning to stay in Paris for their activities.
We operate by the principle of network hospitality. This could translate to the idea of connecting our customers with various online services, to make the best of their stay.

But not only. Human interaction is always present; we take pride in making ourselves available before, during, and after the stay, to find solutions to our guests’ requests.

III. Insurance Services

Do you need one or multiple insurance coverage for your Paris stay?

This is often followed by the speculation that in France, it’s probably included with the social security system or else. Unfortunately, that’s not true. This is why purchasing a good insurance policy is necessary for real peace of mind– and protect your health or your home during your Paris stay, is not wasted money.

Contrary to widely held beliefs, Medical Care isn’t free in France. While there is an accessible healthcare system that turns no one away at the door, people often rush to assume that it comes with no out-of-pocket costs. But that just isn’t true.

Even French citizens and European visitors covered by la sécu (social security) and the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) scheme are usually reimbursed for only around 70% of typical medical costs.

If they don’t have additional insurance coverage, referred to locally as “mutuelles”, they have to pay the difference out of pocket for doctor’s visits, hospital stays, ambulances, and treatment. There are some exceptions to this rule, but we’re considering averages here.

Meanwhile, for those not covered by French social security or the European healthcare scheme, 100% of medical care is billable. This is a friendly reminder to avoid unexpected huge bills.

Now for the positive, we have long-standing partnerships with April International for health insurance and French Furnished Insurance for home insurance. Affordable and professional these insurance packages deliver what you expect as an expatriate living in Paris.
